Recent customer service issues with Model 1 Sales aside, how would you folks compare a DPMS upper receiver to a Model 1 Sales upper receiver ?

I've got a Bushmaster and a RRA, and I've got an Eagle Lower that I'm looking at building into another AR - I'm not looking at spending a whole lot on the upper, and I've got a deal in the works through the equipment exchange for a DPMS dissipator upper - I was just wondering if any of you could highlight the differences (pros and cons) between M1S and DPMS.

Thanks.

I've had nothing but GOOD luck with Model 1 products.

I've had nothing but BAD luck with DPMS products.

YMMV.

I have both,
No big problems with either. I feel that the DPMS is the superior product of the two. Given the choice, I would choose DPMS.

I have several DPMS uppers and am very happy with each.  All have functioned perfectly, several for many 1000s of rounds.  Fit and finish is better than the Bushys that I have since sold.

Great Combination! I have built about ten rifles using this combo. The uppers and lowers match fit and finish perfectly.

I have a Model "1" Sales 11.5" 7.62x39 upper & a DPMS KittyKat 7.5" upper.  Both are 100% runners.  No problems, and I would buy from both again.
