So I just ordered a 308 DPMS A3 upper receiver from JSE surplus and I am guessing
that the so called receiver is the new style and will not line-up with some of the
after market railed hand-guards...so what are the railed hand-guards that will line
up with the receiver if one plans to install BUIS??? or a tubular handguard with
attached rails.

If I buy the DPMS tubular handguard and somehow find a way to attached one of
those after market rails ( I.E. MI rails or Ergo handguard rails ) will line up????

I know Samson rails do not line up since there is a disclaimer on
the website. So what about the Daniel Defense and Rainer Arms???

I ordered this forearm a few weeks ago: http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productnumber=329285

To go with this receiver: http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productnumber=784553

Still waiting on the barrel and bolt, but it lines up nicely.  Let me know if you'd like to see a picture.

Unless I'm wrong, NONE of the current aftermarket .308 rail set-ups (except the DPMS ones) will line up perfectly with the new lower DPMS upper.  I had to buy an older style upper from the EE to get my Troy MRF rails to have a continuous rail.  Troy has said the new MRF rails will line up with the new height.  I wish DPMS hadn't changed the height.  Oh well....

If you can you post some photos of the handguard it would be awesome.
I'd like to see the inside so it can give me an idea of the diameter.
Also did it come with a barrel nut and how much does it weight???
This might be the winner

Troy won't. It aligns with my early DPMS A3 receiver.
