I am interested in a dpms forged lower with the ace stock on it.  How does the dpms compare to the bushmaster, colt, armalite or rra lowers? thanks, splicer.

The DPMS lowers are great.  I have never had a problem with mine.  The DPMS lowers also have a teflon coat on top of the hard coat anodizing.

For the best forged lower value, go with the RRA. I own lowers from Bushmaster, Armalite (and Eagle), DPMS,Rock River, and even a Mega. Plus, I have had the opportunity to compare several of each side by side. My observation is that RRA consistently does the best job of finish machining the raw forgings.  The others are all good quality products that will function just fine (including DPMS) but, the RRA lowers exhibit a higher level of attention to detail from a cosmetic perspective. The cost difference between these brands are minimal if you shop around (except for Bushmaster and the unavailable as just a lower Armalite).
