One thing to consider on the AP4 16" barreled version is that muzzle velocity is around 2457 FPS according to an article from the NRA which is only 92 FPS faster than the standard AK 7.62x39 round.
Course the average round weighs about 40 grains more, so energy and distance for drop is slightly better but not significantly. I think an 18" barreled version would give slightly better results than the carbine version. Some thoughts? |

I have the 18" and am super!!!! pleased with it's performance so far even on milsurp ammo
