Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - DPMS SASS 308 Bull Barrel Muzzle Brake

Hi everyone,

I have a question about this barrel ( DPMS - SASS 308 AR Barrel ) and this muzzle brake ( YHM Muzzle Brake Phantom 5/8"-24 ).

Before buying these, I didn't realize that the muzzle brake would be a little smaller in diameter and it concerned me because on almost every picture I see of 308 ARs, the muzzle brake is a lot thicker. Does it really matter at all and will it in anyway effect performance or safety of my rifle?

I wouldn't worry about it. It should work fine.
