Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - DPMS/Bushie barrel swap

I have a Bushie upper; I would like to replace bushie barrel with new DPMS DCM barrel.  I would also like to use my current Bush Float tube.  Will this work?  Will the DPMS barrel fit OK?
I will do this myself and I would like to spare myself much grief.  will the parts fit?  thanks

what barrel is on the bushie and what barrel do you plan on using from dpms

The current barrel is the 20" Bushie HBAR, .223.  I want to install a 20" stainless DCM from DPMS, also 223.  I also want to use the current Bushie floater tube.  Is she gonna go with a minimal mashing of teeth?
