I just got my upper (re)built for my DDLES lower, and I love it!  Fit and finish are top notch.  I can't wait to get the stamp back to SBR this gun.  Before I list my parts, let me tell a tale about DDLES.

I thought the lower was out of spec, as the upper wouldn't lock on.  It ends up I had a messed up barrel nut, and the rail was interfering .  I hastily contacted DDLES via e mail last Friday night around 8pm (when I still thought it was the lower).

Jon Beaudry called me within five minutes, on a Friday evening!  He was very kind and accommodating, offering to pay for shipping, repairs, tune it for free if I sent my upper, and on and on.  He even said not to worry about the $200 I had sent in for a tax stamp, as he wouldn't let me pay for that again one way or another (they pay or they cut up lower and make another with the same serial).  I rebuilt the upper tonight and realized all is well, and promptly got back to him.

Overall, he was a pleasure to talk to, genuinely concerned and helpful––and not a damn thing was wrong except me    Embarrassing story, but I had to share how great Mr. Beaudry and DDLES are.

So here's what I have on the gun:

DDLES Glock magazine lower (7075)
KNS anti rotation pins
RRA upper receiver
Spikes 10" BAR rail
ADCO 5" 9mm barrel (cut by ADCO to 4.8" so the threads are .400" for the pistol suppressor)
CMMG 9mm BCG (fit for Glock mag lowers by Lone Wolf)
AAC TiRant .45
Aimpoint T-1 4MOA in LaRue 660 mount

To be added:  Geissele single stage trigger (model TBD), BUIS (likely MagPul for weight), stock when stamp returns (most likely MagPul ACS), AFG2

Camera phone pic, sorry for poor quality.

That looks strangely familiar! Nice build... It's almost just like mine (except mine has a stock).

My experience with DDLES was exactly the same as yours. I was one of the first few to get one of their dedicated lowers (serial #16), so there were some growing pains. Jon was VERY helpful and made absolutely sure I was satisfied with my purchase.

I had a messed up barrel nut

Exact same problem here, figured it out before I ever mounted it on any type of lower...noticed the handguards were canted by several degrees.

When I pulled the handguards, I saw the nut was misaligned AND a couple teeth were mangled.

Sent off to Steve at ADCO for a teardown and rebuild to fix (I bet he sees a lot of this).

Some think that the barrel nut does not need to be aligned on a 9mm build since it does not use a gas tube.

WRONG!

Damn you!     I'll still be waiting another 5+ months.  It's pretty light, so shooting it like a pistol is easy.  And of course, you don't need a consistent cheek weld with a red dot.  At least I can play with it a little before I get my stamp.

DDLES is good people though.  My serial is under #50, so I thought it may be a hiccup in the production.  Luckily, I just wasn't thorough enough when finding the problem, and the lower ended up being fine.

Anyone used the 33 round Korean mags?  The price is right, but I would rather buy Glock mags if they aren't reliable.
