"You can make sure it's against the law to take a gun and illegally transfer it to someone who's not entitled to have it," said the bill's sponsor, Sen. John Cullerton, a Chicago Democrat. "But if you limit the ability to make the straw purchase in the first place, it will be more effective."

This is in response to yet another King Richard Daley The Second's latest gun confiscation agenda. A bill passed the Illinois Health and Human Services committe yesterday that will limit law-abiding citizens in Illinois to purchasing one handgun per month because Chicago with the strictest gun-control in America, also has the highest murder rate.
