I'm beginning a Custom Build. My plan at this point is to begin with matched Les Baer upper and lower. (They come striped minus the pins). Anyone know of any reason this is not a sound fondation to build upon? This will be a flattop carbine build utilizing Les Baer 2 stage trigger, bolt and carrier. After that a SIR type rail system, stock, 16" barrel, ACOG scope etc, etc... and I'm open to ideas.
Any drawback to Les Baer matched upper and lowers? COST IS NOT A FACTOR.

it will be a tight , tight setup. i was just checking out an LB m4 at a shop and thought the fit was incredible, but it should be for the cost. my concern is that the upper may be so tight that it makes the gun unreliable. great range piece, but i wouldn't want one in the field.
