This is my new calling rig and some targets. I am getting some 1/2" 3-shot groups and 1" 5-shot groups at 100 yards. Is this accuracy as good as I should expect from this carbine? What can I do to improve accuracy? Thanks fellas.

Some Blackhills maybe 69g up to 75g. MY 24 inch love the 75 gr stuff. Add a stud for a bi-pod. And some trigger work if it does not have a 2 stage yet. Try some of the Wally World 45 JHP that stuff is pretty good.

The choice of ammo matters of course, but quality and consistant trigger release is mandatory.  Install a Jewel trigger and experiment with various quality rounds.  Nothing but fun awaits.

I agree, the Wally World Winne 45 grain shoots great in my rifles.

The best thing you can do to improve accuracy is to tighten the nut that is behind the stock.

Ziess Conquest in an Armalite one piece mount.

Fine choice, hell its what I need to get off my ass and replace my $20 rings I bought just to hold me over...

The mount is an armalite one-piece scope mount.  The scope looks to be a Zeiss Conquest, maybe the 3.5-10x44 model.  Nice rig.

That's funny right there.

WarNerve,
Those are pretty sweet groups.  You already know the rifle can do better and so can you.
However, 95% of shooters (including me) would be very happy with shot groups like those.
You could try taking Inderal or Valium

Me too! Called in a fox and missed a 50 yard gimmie. The follow-up shot was worse because, out of habit, I dropped the gun to throw the bolt -doh!

Fellas: Thanks for answering questions on the mount/optics. Yes, it is an Armalite one-piece and a Zeiss Conquest 3-9X40. The ocular bell sits perfect, giving me plenty of eye relief and room to grab the handle. Sounds like a new trigger is in order. I will have to get one.

Nothing to do with AR's but you wanted to see fur so I will post this Nice rifle BTW. I am putting together a varment rifle too, here is a picture of it so far. Good groups too. My advise on the ammo is to find one type that shoots well and dont change, get to know it well, the ballistics on it and write your scope adjustments down on a piece of paper and laminate it to the stock or carry it with you laminated. Getting to know your rifle and ammo will do wonders for your accuracy IMHO.
