I recently mounted a YHM front flip up sight base to one of my AR's. This is the type that replaces the entire FSB and is held onto the barrel via 4 allen screws. What my question is, is how is this going to stand up to real world use and abuse? Can expect it to stay in place or can it be knocked out of alignement if not properly clamped to the barrel? I would hate to use it on a patrol rifle if there is a chance of a problem. Also, does anyone have any tips/tricks on keeping the YHM front sight base from moving if any? Many thanks guys.....

i used one for a while and it seemed sturdy....i was kind of leery of the 4 screws as well.  a hefty dose of loctite (probably blue; red if you're really paranoid) should help.

like all YHM products they are robust, affordable, and ugly as hell.......
