I'm sure it can be done that way but why would anyone bother?  large hole replacement parts are readily available.

+1

I guess you could send the lower to Mike Klos of American Manufacturing and have him weld up the firecontrol holes and redrill them in his Colt jig to small-hole specs.

It would be nice if Colt made a spec-gun again.

They are...all the current LE models have milspec trigger/hammer holes and standard pushpin.  Even comes with M16 bolt carrier..., can't get anymore "in spec" than that...

The current LE models still  have the large firecontrol pins, although they do have mil-spec small pivot pins.

I guess I could be wrong but these look like standard size fire control holes to me...

I was under the impression that Colt pins are visibly larger than a standard pin, added that I have a friend(who's fairly knowledgeable in firearms) who actually does own a 6920 claimed that it uses the standard pin.  I'll have to ask him about this.

In any case I stand corrected.

Yes, in a picture its so easy to tell the difference between .154" and .170"..... .  Still, it would be nice if they did use the small FCG pins.

Hmm, sleeves that are .008" thick?  How thick is foil.....
