Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Colt .22 conversion mags

Hello,

I need some help please.  I just picked up a Colt marked AR15 .22LR conversion unit, but there was no magazine.  I am told that Ceiner mags will not work with the Colt manufactured unit.

Is this true?

Can anyone give me any leads for getting a magazine that will work?

Shooting this thing single shot is getting on my nerves!

I believe the DPMS 22 magazine will work.  It is the Horner style conversion unit, which I believe is the same as the COLT.

Over the weekend I found some new Colt mags for sale in the gunlist for $20 each.
