Gents: Well, I know the C must mean Colt and somewhere or other I found out the D is Diemaco, the Canadian outfit. Both my MT6400 and 6920 are marked C with what looks like a keyhole symbol. What forge does that mark indicate? Is there a web page with a list of identification stampings? Thanks.

Biggerhammer's info is older than I am. It is WAY out of date and doesn't reflect today's forging providers, such as Cerro Forge who supplied Colt with the raw upper forging mentioned above. Cardinal Forge, Anchor Harvey are among others that supply raw forgings to the manufacturers.
