Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Colt Mueller Brass Uppers and Bushmaster rifles

Can someone tell me about "Colt" Mueller Brass uppers that are used on some Bushmaster rifles.  It just seems odd to see Bushmaster rifles with "CMB" marked on the upper.  I would have thought that they would at least use a different marking.  Just seems interesting, not that it really matters.

I have gotten upper over the years from Bushmaster that had the first forge mark ground off and only the forging companies mark left on the upper. I think most were K marked with the first letterof the company it was forged for ground off.
