I need some help fast. My friend has a Colt Match Target Lightweight in which he filed on the trigger and hammer in an attempt to lighten the trigger pull. Needless to say he screwed them up. I got him a replacement hammer at a gunshow, but the trigger pin was too large to fit? I know next to nothing about AR's so I could use some help. Is this because of the small pin/large pin lower I hear about. How and where do I get the correct hammer and trigger. Does anyone have a used set for sale that you no longer are in need of? bocefus45@hotmail.com

The fire control pins on some Colts are .169 to .172 in., in that range anyway. The standard military fire control pins are .153 in. Colts are not standardized it seems. The front pivot pin can be .250 or .315 in. .250 in is the standard military pivot pin. Bushmaster and others sell the larger pinned hammers and triggers that Colts require - .172 in. Good Luck!
