Ok me and a friend o mine just got 4 postion telestocks for our Colt MT6400c M4 carbines. I also bought a spanner wrench for the stock removal.

Are they always really tight? Is there something we`re not doing? Would a vise help? Thanks.

The slotted castle nut at the rear of the receiver is staked in place.  You may have to use a steel punch and hammer to turn it one step at a time past the staking, or until your wrench can turn it.
