Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Colt M4 handguards vs others.

I noticed that my colt hadguards differ greatly compared to all the knockoffs.
Aside from double heat shield. I am not talking about the heat shields. I am talking about the plastic.  The colt plastic seem to be re-enforced with some type of glass-mat molded within the plastic? where other knockoffs including bushy verson seem to be just thermoplastic.
