A Buddy from my gun club claims he once owned a Colt AR15 with a factory applied camo finish .He said it was a high dollar factory option. This would have been 30 years or so ago.Anyone got a picture of this?

there were a few different types of cammo.
desert 6 color
woodland
and tiger stripe. (My friend in FL has one)

I think it was called "Z Coat" at the time

A local Colt dealer had some NIB 6921s in desert about 3 weeks ago. They looked really good. I can't remember if they came from Colt like that or not.
