That's a fair price. Some people don't like them because of being only two positions on the Receiver Extension. Other look long and hard for then when restoring an ealy CAR-15. Are you sure it's a Colt? Beware of other aluminum knock offs.

If it has a 1.150 diameter, it's Colt with a late model tube. If it measures roughly at 1.170, it's an after market knock-off. The other day I was at a gun show and saw a stock with "shiney" black paint, and thought it was a Colt, realizing it was a excellent knock-off. Measure the tube to be safe. LS |

Ok I already changed my mind! I prefer the new Colt fiberlite instead. Thanks for the info!

There's really no reason to go for the old Colt stock, unless you're in the process of restoring an old SP1, and for that you'd want the original two position tube. Had my own SP1 collapsable for about 25 years now, and love it; but when I built up an M4gery last year, the thought of using one of the old stocks never crossed my mind[:D] |

Today I found a new Colt pre ban C AF M4 upper w/1/9 twist complete for 600.00. couldn't pass it up. Now I need two stocks. i better start shopping!!!!!!!!
