Just curious....I bought a Colt 6601 some time back mainly for collectibility long term.  Is this a decent idea?  I ask b/c I was told that I could not change the BCG out in the 6601 b/c of a sear block which IMHO limits it's usefulness a little.

Thanks.

Edited model....it has a CMH prefix if that helps.

I am not into collecting guns for the sake of future value. I shoot everything I have. Also my Colt MT6700 doesn't have the sear block. If the rifle fits your needs, than shoot it.

Just check gunbroker to get an idea of retail(i.e. top dollar) price.
