would it be legal to drill a hole as shown in the pic below and put a roll pin?

If you're going to an AWB state, just put on the pinned stock and, when you get home, put the collapsible back on... 
The reason I say this is because in many, if not all, AWB states, the stock must be permanently pinned... |

Not that I'm putting any doubt in the abilities of the range nazis or prick cops that want to see that it isn't collapsible, but... odds are they wouldn't know the difference between permanent and "reversible" juts at a glance. I'm not going to sit there an let them have at it with a punch set to make sure the pin stays in... |
