"Theoretically"...Is there a way to pin a stock without making it permanent?

If I have one and I bring it to a non-friendly state and it would need to be pinned, in the even that I'm asked to show that it's not actually collapsing. But if I go back to a friendly state I could remove it with a minimal amount of work...

I would think your best bet would be to have two separate stocks - one pinned, the other collapsible.  If you're going to an AWB state, just put on the pinned stock and, when you get home, put the collapsible back on...

The reason I say this is because in many, if not all, AWB states, the stock must be permanently pinned...

Not that I'm putting any doubt in the abilities of the range nazis or prick cops that want to see that it isn't collapsible, but... odds are they wouldn't know the difference between permanent and "reversible" juts at a glance. I'm not going to sit there an let them have at it with a punch set to make sure the pin stays in...
