I like the style of red dot both the C-More and Mepro 21 provide.  But the price.  GOOD LORD IN HEAVEN!

I like the C-More concept the most.  Does anyone make a cheap knock off from China?

Sorry,
From what I've seen on this sight so far there are not many folks that think you SHOULD save money. Much less have it come from a non-mil.-spec. supplier. Heaven forbid THAT should happen. Rivers will dry up and locusts will ravish the landscape if you buy an AR part from China.hinking.gif

There is one of that type (c-more). Not a clone but the same "format". The brand escapes me now. Check out one of the industry partner stores and go to red dots ... they may have some there ....

Will get back to you as soon as i find it.

I know somebody who put a knockoff on his M16 and it seems to last for a half mag before the battery unit falls off.   I'm not sure of the brand but the batt is at the bottom rear of the unit.   I think it was a BSA but not sure.    I wouldnt depend on the knockoffs being up to the task of long term use.   On the plus side they replaced the unit without any hassle but the second one did it too.    He's looking at Eotech now.

I'll email him and see what sight it was so you can at least steer clear of that one.

Ok...here ya go.  Check these holographic sights out  ATN, BSA etc.

Midway USA Scopes

Know though that these may be in no way as sturdy as a Cmore .... and as they always say around here, you get what you pay for.

If it's our buddy with the cool toys, it was a Bec Inc and he's broken two of them.

I broke a similar one. The battery dial hasn't broken off, but it would have if I kept firing (it turned on/off after each shot).

Blah both are craptastic.

If you like the C-More style then look at the OKO.  It's a much better implementation of that format, much easier to zero (and it costs less).

What is the most durable sight in this format.  I noticed the OKO is made out of plastic....

I like the format, but I too need input...

You can get a steel cover for the OKO that makes it much more durable. I love mine, and it is extremely fast.

According to okousa.com, it's $199 for the OKO sight and another $90 for the protective cover.  For that price, I'll just pick up an EOThingy...

I used to recommend Cav-Arms but I understand they no longer carry them.  Dillon (Blue Press) carries them and you might want to check out SWFA.com
