I know the manual says you can use water, but is there something better out there that is designed for the thing? What do ya'll use to clean scope lenses like ACOGs?

Leupold Lens Pen, is what I use to clean my ACOG.

As far as the lenses go, I use Zeiss disposable lens cloths. Sams Club sells them locally for cheap.

Both my Trijicons came with a lens pen, but the Zeiss lens cloth work good too. Just be sure to get any dust/dirt particles off before you rub the lens to avoid scratching it.

Flush with water to get rid of dust. Clean off water with alcohol. I use 91% isopropanol (rubbing alcohol) from the drug store, but vodka works also. BSW

shake it around in a bucket of water when it gets real bad and just wipe it dry

It should be fine but distilled rain would be much better.
