There should be a "C" on the barrel, or you can see the chrome ring inside bore or on the crown. Lemme know if you need a picture.

A picture would be great. Thanks.

Dab some cold blue inside the chamber with a Q-tip. If it sticks (turns it blue), then it is NOT chome-lined.

Sorry it took me so long to respond to your thread. I had to go home from work to take the pictures. To be honest, it's Friday afternoon and I was looking for a reason to sneak out.

Man these pictures are reminding me how I need to do more than just a few pulls with a boresnake and a few pokes with a Q-tip and call it "cleaning".

Both of these barrels are chrome lined. The first is I think a Wilson or a Shaw, and second is Bushmaster.

Then don't deal with him. There's far too many well priced and ethical dealers here on the site to justify dealing with douchebag vendors. Drop me an IM if you need a reccomendation or two.

steve-oh,
That Bushmaster (pic #2) receiver with the feedramp cuts is a disaster waiting to happen...

Its not a good idea to use a regular rifle barrel extension with a receiver that has M4 cuts, it could possibly become a feeding problem... ..

Feeding problem?  Screw feeding, I'd worry about having a projectile set back in the case.

Last time I went to pick up a lower from my FFL, he asked me what sort of upper I was putting on it.  When I told him I was using a chrome lined barrel, he told me I should go stainless because the chrome would peel off.        Local dealers and FFL's often spend too much time hitting the crack pipe.

He is either stupid or a liar, and you don't want to do business with either.
