I'm putting some extra chrome silicon springs in storage.  I don't know much about CS except they are supposed to be tougher and last longer.  Is it OK to lube em up w/ CLP perservative for storage?  Hope this doesn't sound silly.

Well, the springs I'm referring to are actually extractor springs.  But  I think I'll post there, too.  Good Idea.

Yes juice them up with something, don't special buy anything.  use 10w30 or axle grease if you have it, you'll clean it when you need it.
