Is Chrome Moly good for 6.8-24"? Saw an upper from Model 1 sales. http://www.model1sales.com. Any advice?

If you want something for plinking that will hold up really well look at getting a chrome lined barrel (which is also made of chrome moly steel).

So what type of grades of steel are there? And how do you rank them?

Hmmmm... Which is the strong metal? 10xx or 98xx? Reason for the question is that, I noticed a huge difference in price between some of these uppers and not sure on why? Is it metal?

I use chrome moly steel to build roll cages for Jeeps.
