I have a low pro w/ vis 14.5" w/ perm Smith.

I want/need a suppressed upper. I thought I wanted to go the SBR route and get a new 10.5 to 12.5, but discretionary funds are earmarked for other things.

Can I replace the Smith with a flash hider/suppressor mount that would still keep me at 16", or will I lose barrel length that would require an SBR stamp?

I am undecided on the suppressor, so all muzzle devices are in play.

I have emails in to Adco, but have not heard back.

You have multiple ways to go in this scenario, AAC YHM and Gemtch all have mounts that will keep you at legal length if permed on and will work. It just depends how you would like to go.

any supressor with the interface for the mil spec FH will work with the Smith vortex G6.
