They didn't copy the M14, they built it on our machines.

Does anyone not see the irony.  We make AKs here.  They make M16s and M4s there.  I guess the grass IS greener on the other side.

Call me paranoid - but it also allows the visiting team to find and use the home team's mags and ammo.

I’m not too concerned………..in that pic above it looks like that first gal is armed with a squirt pistol!

I’d be more concerned with their ability to clone humans! The first and second gals look identical!

As Chicken Little cried, "The sky is fake, the sky is fake!"

Photoshop, kinda like when the Russians were parading around fake missles in their parades at the height of the Cold War, but not to the same degree.

The last chick on the right is kinda hot.

Bill

Kinda, just kinda mind you.

It's nice to see that they do their own R&D instead of just copying ARMS or something.

Btw, I didnt think the chicoms could import rifles into the US anymore.

Actually, they (PLA) are using QBZ 95 with 5.8Chinese as their standard weapon:

QBZ 95 Assault rifle.

Another new 5.8 rifle was debuted 3 years ago:

Type 03 rifle vs HK G36

From top to bottom:
Type 81
Type 03
QBZ 95

Chinese build ARs for 2 reasons: first is money, and the second is to use it militarily. By arming infiltrating troops with ARs, they can confuse Taiwanese people since Taiwanese troops are using piston ARs.

I was refering to the real ones in the brochure.

The ones in the above pics a rubber duckys. You can see screw all over them that hold the two halves together.

Look like rubber ducks to me.... no pin holes in lower receiver, no gas tube visible. Why the Chinese would be parading about with rubber M4s, I have no idea.

Note the screw holes in the mags and on the buffer tube. And no dust cover hinge spring

China has been copying foriegn weapons for decades. In case you forgot, thier modern arms industry got its start copying Russian weapons. Norinco made a A1/SP1 clone/hybrid for civilian sale, though rare in the US they are more common in Canada though still obscure. In addition to the M16 and AK, China has copied nearly ever major succesful military/civilian weapon for any number of reasons.

The primary reason to make copies of the M4, besides export sales, would be to arm "reserve units". China's regular army isn't that much bigger than ours, if anything its the same but there could be an "imbalance" if you could quantify all of thier "reserve" troops, which are plentiful. Much like Russia, China never throws anything away. Expect mildly trained civilians to be driving around in T55's and causing trouble for supply lines and busying valuable air assets. These civilian conscripts*most with no training, and some not even being male* will be armed with anything from Thompson SMG's to DShk MG's or M4geries. Russia prepared gazillions of rounds of 5.56 rounds to use against NATO, expecting thier strategic resources to be literally "nuked". At some point, they would run out of ammo, especially if they are loosing. It only makes sense to use our weapons/ammo against us....yet another Nazi innovation. China is taking it one step farther, with a looming conflict with the US over Taiwan they better pack a lunch. Expect Chinese soldiers to impersenate Taiwanese soldiers, right down to the weapons to gain advantage....again, just like the Nazis at the "Bulge". There is nothing new about China copying the M16 or anyother military weapon for profit/military use. Personally, Im not sure why they would bother as they are about 5-8 years ahead of us in the small arms arena...except that they test with soap.

China is a very serious threat to the US. Despite our emerging relations*which are 99% private* Chna has openly threatened to go to war with the USA over Taiwan. Much like India/Pakistan, N/S Korea and Iran/Israel, China/Taiwan is a conflict that is coming, they have promised it. We have sent a carrier group there twice during hostilites between China/Taiwan. If China makes a move, we will be at war with China, and its American resolve that has prevented this from happening. Right now, people seem to think we are stretched to thin and can't protect ourselves and our enemies are coming out of the woodwork, so who knows....they may be feeling lucky. Lucky or not, they know an open war with America would be the end of at least one of the nations, if not both.
Scary days ahead, friends....

This inspired me to do a little more checking and I am furious to see American AR/M16 accessories on Chinese made weapons, in the hands of Chinese soldiers. Seeing a picture of a Chinese soldier training with what appears to be the average ARFCOM'ers rifle really pissed me off. Why is it, time and time again that Americans are selling Chinese gov't entities techonology/devices which will ultimatly be used to take/threaten American lives? I hope any of the dealers who hang around this site keep that in mind. DO NOT SELL WEAPONS/COMPONETS TO CHINA! The 100.00 stock isn't worth selling out your country our our troops.

Those chinese made M-4 stocks, handguards and optics are sold in the US daily .
When we buy these chinese made AR optics and parts, we give them a huge market here in the states and  we promote them to build more.
They probably are using the money from the sales of these parts to build these AR clones

We already have a giant trade defecit with china, i think its like 800 billion dollars or so.  Please support one of the last great american industries and not buy cheap chinease knock offs.  Lets show them how its done!
