I'm about to buy a press and start reloading, and I understand that steel cases cannot be reloaded? And even some brass cases are not suitable for reloading?

So what's the cheapest ammo I can buy that has a cartridge I can reload later? Federal? S&B?

Buy commerical reloads. I've picked up 50 rds of 55gr for $17.99 and then go from there.

I would reccomend buying factory ammo for the first go around. Now You Know for sure how many times the brass has been used . that and its all the same brand and lot too for more consistant performance.
