I am looking for cheap soft point or hollow point military surplus or new ammo in .223 cal.... I wish to buy in bulk 250 rds/500 rds/1000 rds, etc. Which companies should i use or order from?

1)  There is no such thing as "military surplus" soft point or hollow point ammo.  It is all FMJ.  

2)  If you find some, let us know so it will be backordered by the time you order.

Cheap does not exist. Component prices are all waay high. If you find some cheap stuff, I'd look at it very closely before buying. It might as well be a commodity these days.

I'm looking for 2k rounds and it seems everyone is out of stock. But then, I don't really know too many gd places to look . I have been just looking online at CTD and Cabellas and the such.

AIM had Fiocchi boxed ammo very recently, and another vendor listed on the Ammo page has got Fiocchi Mil Surplus that chronos similar to Guat.  I just picked up a 1000 round can of the latter.

I don't reload, but there are threads about both the boxed .223 and the 5.56 packed loose in the can.  Just search "Fiocchi"

Thats why when I find a good deal I keep it under my hat have . I found a guy on craigslist of all places a few months ago that was selling 500 rounds of M193 for $80 locally, and I coulndt send him an e-mail fast enough.
