On Saturday I started using a similar camera for matches. I mount it on my hat to cover pistol shooting as well. I still have some kinks to work out...

I think a sporting clay challenge or a bowling pin speed test at various ranges should be fun to record.

It would make for some fun and creative competition videos amongst the hive.

Well I can't help but add, that is cool and very ingenious....but I will have to throw my own gun cam mount footage in on this one.....it is a prototype I am working on.....

I don't know that I would trust your eyes because that is not an ARMS mount

I bought that knock off for $20 off a gun show since I am pretty sure it's no worse

It appears that the unit can take the recoil. This is a great experiment. There are helmet cams and such that are over 80 bucks.

A night vision one would rock as well. Or at least be sensitive to IR light.

Most cameras are sensitive to IR, just not to a degree where the image can be enhanced at range by it. Point your TV remote at your cell phone camera and press a button on it.

Mine mounts to the side or under the barrel no problem, I just use software to tilt the movie to the correct orientation later. If you don't have the software, just rotate your monitor

Mine came in the mail today. Any ideawhere to find better directions? It seems like it was translated somewhat poorly. And will it record anything with out the micro SD? My micro card hasn't gotten here yet.

That instruction that came with it was the best. Everything was press "long time", the whole office was doing chinese accent with the word "long time"..... until we pissed off a chinese guy, we had to stop before HR comes in

I had Version 3 of the camera. You download this template:

Correct the time, copy it to the root directory on the camera, unplug the camera from the computer, Turn it off, leave it off for about 5 seconds, turn it back on, and viola.
