Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Charging handle wear

I noticed that there was some wear on the notch in the upper where the charging handle locks into.  I was wondering if anyone has ever worn out that area of their upper receiver to the point where the charging handle will come out without having the charging handle release squeezed in.

I saw some well used M-16s at Parris Island that didn't have any problems with them. They damn sure had more usage than any AR that we would have.

IOW, I wouldn't sweat it.
