Does the bolt rotate via the cam pin and lock up before the carrier stops its forward travel?  
Or does the carrier impact the back of the bolt and help it lock up?

EDIT: Well, the above link didn't really explain this aspect. The bolt's locking lugs pass through the barrel extension's locking lugs. As the bolt carrier continues forward, the bolt is rotated by the cam pin and locks into place.
