The 6920 has a collapsible stock, threaded muzzle w/flash suppressor, and bayonet lug.  The 6400 has a fake collapsible stock, non-threaded muzzle w/brake, and no bayonet lug.

The 6400C was built during the ridiculous AWB period and was designed to side-step the restrictions


That said, it is still a best buy for those states who still have their own bans

The MT6400C's receiver is stamped "M4 CARBINE". IIRC the 6920's is not stamped as such.
