There were some prison guard trade-ins listed here recently- resembling your 6600 green/label- and IIRC those were selling for around $1,000.
..........slowly I might add. Then again, there is this one.........

I have seen them from $800 to $1050 depending on condition and who is selling them.

Thanks for the input folks, seriously!
The shop wants $1200 for it, plus like $60 in tax too... Anyhow, in Maryland the only AR15's that are treated like a normal long gun are HBAR variants. All other AR's have a "waiting period" like a pistol. I guess the shop is trying to capitalize on it being "cash & carry". It's a pretty gun but apparently not worth that kind of scratch. Do the police markings help or hurt it's value? |

You should probably post this question in your hometown forum so you can get a better feel for pricing, and regs. In general, there is nothing to prevent anyone from owning a weapon that says "Police", or anything else on the side. |

I know that I can legally purchase and own the gun, I was just wondering what impact the markings would have on the guns dollar value and collectability.
