I know the full lower is on hold until the ATF stuff gets approved. Sooo in the meantime can you make your GG "lower" to work with the MGI system? If you just make the magblock you can sell it without needing the FFL and still give the masses what they want. I know the AK magwells sell for 200 from MGI. I' m sure the machining time would be cut down milling only half a lower- you make more money while doing less work.

Please tell me you can do this I want to be first on the list if its possible.

In order to what you ask, Justin would need to get his hands on a MGI rear lower and maybe a Ar15 magwell to use for measurements. The engineering issue will be the mag release. The slotted portion where the two halves slide together would be compromised on the right hand side as it would need to be cut to use the AR45 mag release and unmodified GG mags. MGI is planning on doing a GG magwell but I don't know how they plan to tackle the mag release. To use a different mag release than the AR45 release would entail a lot of time just doing the engineering. Took a couple of months to do the AR45 lower.

The legal issue would be potential patent violation in making any magwell that fits the MGI lower as the whole slotted area is part of the MGI patent.

Feel free to contact Justin on his website.
