I got about 500 rounds last time they were in stock. havent had the chance to shoot any yet. Some will say that it snt that great of a round. Others will say it is one of the best. But for seconds it is in pretty great shape. Alot better looking than XM193 I have gotten.

I just got a new RR with SS 16 inch barrel and it fired 10 rounds into 1 1/4 inches and the guns not even broken in yet. It shot better than Hornandy Match 75 grain  and Tap 223 75 grain which surprised me.

 29.95 for 50 rounds of 5.56???

There isn't anything you can run thru a 5.56 that's worth that much money, Jethro.

Theres lot more expensive ammo than this in 223/5.56. I just bought some 69 grain gold medal by federal. TAP is kinda high also. and on and on.

Have you shot this stuff?????

When I shoot a 2 inch 20 round group at 200 yards from my M4 and get a report and recoil that reminds me of my 30-30.... I get a big smile on my face that won't go away.

Priceless...

Ordered 5 boxes.  I had a BO on some BH 75gr. OTM with Cabela's and cancelled it to get this.  I'll just buy a half case of the 75gr stuff from JKiser since he has it in stock.

Can't wait to try it out in my Denny's RECON barreled upper!

I was hoping to shoot some of the BH 75gr in my new RRA Monday but I sent it back to BH due to some quality issues. They are sending me replacement ammo tomorrow.
My 1/8 twist although new did not seem to like the 75 grain tap or Hornandy match 75 grain near as well as this 77grain.

My 1/8 is a CMMG chrome lined.  I am curious to see how it will do in that.  I know a lot of folks have the SS barrels.

If you think that's insane, have you ever priced Federal's 62 grain bonded "Tactical" round, $25+ per 20?

Sorry, not hijacking,

Dig it!  I guess if you are buying competition ammo, that's not too ridiculous of a price.  But I'd guess that most mullets here are buying it cuz it's the latest fad, and they've been snowed by the notion that M855/M193 are not lethal.

So do you think the ammo is worth that much or not?  Or is it just that you think everybody's a moron?  I think it's a safe bet that plenty of folks on here enjoy repeatable accuracy.  I know I do.

I have plenty of XM 193 and 855. I just bought a 1/8 twist and wanted some heavy grain ammo that I could store. Only thing I saw that was available. I was hoping the HSM ammo would shoot well but for now putting it on the back burner.

hats off to Black Hills MK262

I tried some out while zeroing my LMT Defender 2000 M4
I bought a Larue cantilever mount for my old ML2.

Useing the 4moa dot I could get 10rds to group in a little 3/4 inch ragged hole @ 50yards

Not bad for a M4 and a red dot

I also notice alot of muzzle blast with my Phantom w/ closed bottom

Better filters where you work, I'd be carefull about suf=rfing at work if they went to that much trouble. They could be tracking you also.

With the new batch of MK262

I find in my LMT Defender 2000 with a 14.5 barrel

The Black Hills 77gr shoots the best groups
The Black Hills 75 wich is a TAP bullet  very accuratre .
but the 77SMK  shoots a TAD tighter

The MK262 that I shot was very accurate considering the Cannclure and how HOT it is

Just got my 15 boxes from Cabellas. Its great looking stuff. I only opened one box but looks better than the other two batches I bought. Its 06 stamped with heavy red sealer (winchester) on the brass.
