I AM BUILDING A KAC MARK 11 MOD 0 CLONE USING MY DPMS LR308 AS A BASE RIFLE. I WANT TO FIND A GAS BLOCK THAT CAN BE TURNED DOWN SO A SUPPRESSOR CAN INDEX OVER IT AND SCREW ON TO THE END OF THE BARREL. SIMILAR TO THE KNIGHTS ARMAMENT VERSION BUT IT WILL INDEX ONLY NOT QUICK DETACH MOUNT TO IT. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN HAVE A GAS BLOCK LIKE THIS MADE?
THANKS

I had inquired with the folks at G.A. Precision about having one made for my SR25 since they have a Mk11 Mod0 at the shop.
After speaking with George Gardner (owner) at length about it, it was determined that the amount of machining operations involved to make one would take too much time and not be cheap unless you were making a good quantity of them.
Luckily, I managed to find myself a Mk11 Mod0 gas block.

If your barrel is a 0.940" diameter bull profile, I could re-profile the front end to fit the 0.875" gas block.

I might be interested in that.

Randall do you have a photo with the suppressor installed or was that made for something else? That looks nice even though it may be old!
