Agreed with the rest here...Go to ebay, OR all others....Cannot beat SF's price on batts!
I just bought 15 boxes a few weeks back. In fact approx. 10 mos ago, I was at Surefire and was talking to Paul Kim (VP of engineering) and he must have had 10,000 batteries sitting behind him in a corner! Pretty funny along with his desk of a few hundred lights scattered around!

Try Battery Station batteries. They are a good brand and they work great.

Coltrifle -

Are the batteries from the Battery Station less than $1.25 each. I doubt it and seeing as how that's what SureFire sells them fore I can't for the life of me figure out whay anyone would buy from someone else. Every time I order over the internet form SureFire the batteries arrive in three days. Can't beat the price or service.

Battery station sells them from time to time at .99 (if your a member of the CPF forums) . His batteries are very high quality.

On the other hand , if you buy a box of 72 and a box of 12 from surefire, you get free shipping as you hit the $100.00 limit.

Thanks guys, I'm new to these types of flashlights and batteries as I've been using a SL Stinger for years now. I'd like to get them from a sight supporter, and get the best quality as well.

Here's a real good reason to buy the best - wasn't using quality batteries like SureFire

I have had problems with SOME Surefire batteries. They suddenly burn out after like 10-15 minutes of use. Others from Surefire have been fine, but I notice that some seem to die suddenly (about 20% of them that I have gone through)

Mad Dog:

I paid $1 a piece and the service was awesome. I've used the batteries a lot and I like them a lot. The SureFire batteries are fine and I've got a few but I usually use the Battery Station type. I can't tell a difference. Last time I bought them I bought 200 and I think the shipping was $4.
