Hi, I had a few questions about the CQB SOP sling. I emailed CQB about which model I would need for a Bushmaster XM15 E2S M4 Type 16in Carbine. The person that replied said that the model #135 would work or if I had the larger oval M4 Handgaurds I would need model #136. So my first question would have to be which kind of handgaurds does my AR have?

Secondly, both the #135 and #136 are for a collapsible stock. Mine has one of those pinned collapsible stock, would this still be consider the same thing?

Do you have the standard carbine handguards or the fatter M4 handguards? If you don't know and you didn't specifically ask for the M4 handguards, you probably have the standard Carbine handguards. Yes, the sling will fit your pinned postban telestyled stock.

Call CQB solutions and they can fix you right up. I have a BM M4 with the pinned stock and the SOP sling works just fine. They come standard with the "standard stocks " unless you asked for the fat ones.

NEW ARGUY What is the advantage of mounting your sling at the end of the receiver instead of mounting it to the butt stock? Regards

Well, this thread inspired me to give Coal Creek a call...Trevor hooked my up with an HST, due to the forward mount on the ARFX buttstock. I'll let ya know how it is when I get it.
