It says on the website that the straight 20's are coming in January.

Here's the complete up date on the 20's and 7.62x39.

We have finished a prototype of the 7.62x39. The curvature is correct and the stacking is correct. This is a 30round magazine. The cutting of material for the tool will begin as soon as the corrections to the 9mm are completed. This should be no more than 1 week.
The straight 20 round stainless steel magazine tooling is completed and we hope to run parts next week. It then will take a about a week to weld, heat treat etc.

Can you give us a price line on the new AR 7.62x39 Mags? Will there be a price break? Any extra goodies being offered on the new AR 7.62x39 Mags and are you going to offer them in different (gray/black/desert tan) finishes?

Do you think that you will be offering a new “holder” that will allow us to use the existing Russian speed clips to load your new Mags? How long before you will offer the new design in a 20 round Mag or even a good 5/10 round Mag for hunting?

Think I’m out of questions for now and vocabulary, but will try again later so you don’t feel unloved…

The price on the 30 round 7.62x39 will be around $29.00. Initially they will be offered with the black mar-lube but as we phase out the mar-lube it will be replaced by the black teflon. They will not be offered with a grey teflon.
I do not think we will be offering a 20 round 7.62x39. We will however be offering a 5 round for hunting.
The straight 20 is being run today, February 13th. We will need to process them, weld etc. so we expect to have them in stock within 10-14 working days.

Just got the word that C Products is working overtime to put out the “New” 9mm Mags and the 20 round straight Mags and this is the reason (along with the “Group Buy”) and cause for the push back for the AR 7.62x39 Mags.

It seams that the prototypes and testing are finished and we are just waiting for your starting time at the presses. Guess that says it all for now. After my experiences with the AR-15 in the 7.62x39 I feel that it is a better platform than the .223/5.56 (just MHO).

Sorry for being absent for awhile on this thread. Here's the update:

9mm is being tested extensively and my black and blue shoulder can attest to that! Our 9mm loves the Bushmaster and the Hahn block, however it is not totally friendly with a Colt. The key word is "totally" as in always. We are tweaking it slowly [dimensionally] to get it right. This takes time, and will cause delays from the orginal promise dates. The bottom line is...it will not be released until we are satisfied it works all the time, even if that means never releasing the magazine. Don't get me wrong, I don't believe for a second that will happen but just letting you know our commitment.

20 straight is running [being stamped] as I am posting this and should be in stock in 10 days.

7.62x39 as posted before...the curvature as well as the stacking to produce a 30 round magazine have been proven out and the design is stable. The tool required for nthis magazine is huge and takes extensive funds and time. We are moving very slowly with the building of this tool, for a company of our size this is a major investment. We will not back off this project, we will get it done but it will take time. As soon as I have any idea of a projected date I will post it.
