They look great, and appear to be the same ones CMMG is selling on their website, yet they are priced at quite a bit less. I know that there are some inexpensive "bargain bin" CMMG uppers floating around out there, with the 1/9 barrels and the WASP coating and whatnot, which isn't what I'm looking for. If that's what AIM is selling, I'll pass and order from CMMG directly. However, if they are legit current production high quality uppers, I wouldn't mind saving a bit of money.

Anyone have one who can share an opinion?

AIM is GTG, i have bought many items from them. i would not hestitate to but more, top notch company. CMMG uppers rock enjoy

AIM carries the 1:7 CL 16" units from CMMG, and are totally GTG.  If they have what you're looking for in stock, I wouldn't hesitate.

AIM is GTG and the uppers they are selling are the 1/7, real deal chrome lined uppers from CMMG.  I just got a middy from them and they are really nice.

Outstanding gentleman, thanks for the input. I'll talk to the wifey and see if I can pull some funds to jump on one....the $.01 shipping is flippin' amazing, too. CMMG charges nearly $25 for shipping, if memory serves, so thats a ton of savings.

Thats a fine lookin' middy you have there too, Dread.

Does these have M4 style feed-ramps?

Also, these ship with a BCG?  Is that true?  A complete upper?

1. Yes they do. IIRC, all CMMG uppers have extended feed ramps, and very nice ones to boot.

2. Yep, BCG is included. Truly plug-and-play. Hell of a deal at $525...same setup sells for nearly $600 on CMMG's site.

Plus, CMMG charges around $25 for shipping, whereas this only costs a frappin' penny. Super deal.

It's a smoking deal ,but for $580.00 you can get the best (BCM upper and LMT BCG) from Denny . only $55.00  more and well worth it .

What kind of barrel profile does it have?

BCM is govvy.  It lacks a BCG as well, so add $130 for the excellent BCM unit, or an LMT

I'm extremely, extremely happy with my CMMG uppers running LMT BCG's, or CMMG's MPI CMT units with the BCM bolt upgrade kit: so I haven't seen the need to run anything else.

Go with the AIM one, just add a BCM bolt kit (GTS is a great source for those), and you're ready to mow through ammo forts.

Yeah, no denying that BCM is the shiz, but with that you have to pay for a charging handle, handguards, and shipping, which tacs on another $50 or $60 on top of the $55 bucks. So it's worth it if you can afford it, but I'm looking for the best quality I can get on a budget, and CMMG more than meets my requirements.
