I spoke with CMMG today. 5.5" and 10.3" .22 AR pistol barrels are going to be released in December.
I can't wait

shadowcop, I know you're more into the 5.5" but I think a 10.5" is perfect.
CMMG's got about everything covered, 5.5", 10.5", 16", 20". I don't think there's anybody with that many lengths covered as a standard order.. Spec |

Did I tell you that I got a Metal Mag Loader today. I gotta have something on ya.
I need to take a picture and post it. Somebody here asked me to do that. Somewhat like a Christie but way Tougher... I didn't hear about the Stainless Match Barrels. Bull Profiles? |

Taz didn't say if they were bull profile. I can't even imagine the accuracy as good as the stock barrel shoots.

I'm very excited about the .22 pistol uppers. What's the tradeoff between a 5.5" and an 10.3"? Both should run ok, I'd imagine.

Shouldn't be any trade off. 5.5" should keep bulk pack sub sonic.

All the more reason to get my SBR lower done.. Need to throw a LPK in it before I get it engraved and make sure it works.. :D

I will be in for a match barrel....then I will just chop one of my standard weight CMMG 16" barrels for my SBR.

I will let you know.
It should be close to the price of the 16" upper with exception of the hand guard option. Again, it will depend on the options chosen. |

whole lot better than the ones I've tried before.. For what it is it's going to be hard to beat. Especially when the going gets tough, loading mags. Spec |

You guys are breaking my credit card! Just ordered new springs & followers, a BHO collar, and a new complete upper. How much more damage can you do to a poor man on a fixed income?!
