Hi Guys, Happy new year to all! Just wanted to know if CMMG is quick to ship new uppers? I have read a lot of posts about them and they seem to have great CS, just wanted to know if I'm in for a wait? I guess I can handle it since I've waited for what seemed like years on DSA FAL's before. Any info would be appreciated.....axa

I have ordered from them three times and received lightning fast shipping each time.   One was an upper (in stock).

I orderd two uppers from them and one of them got to me within a week. Of course it depends on where you are from them on how fast it gets their. The only bad thing was my other upper is on backorder and it won't be here until the end of february/beginning of march

Ok, thanks guys. The upper I ordered is a pretty simple one, nothing custom. Hope they have it in stock...axa

I ordered a 14.7 with perm A2,no upgrades. I hope the color matches with my DSA lower. No bigdeal if not. I did put a bushmaster upper on the DSA lower and the BM was quite a bit darker. The pictures on CMMG site look almost Colt grey. Maybe its just the backgroud they use because the pictures others have posted look very dark...axa

If it's in stock you will get it VERY quickly. I ordered my CMMG upper on a Monday around noon, it was in my hands Wednesday afternoon in Pittsburgh.

CMMG, They have excellent product and costumer service, I have and use CMMG product on my personal firearms. I also sell CMMG product due to there very reasonable delivery times and selection of components. I have met these "guys" in person on visit to the shop and attended one of the 3 gun shoots at the range.

No it wasn't custom. It was the 14.5" M4 upper with a phantom 5C2 perm. flash hider that was on backorder. The other one that I ordered and recieved within a week was the 14.7" M4 upper. The color is very dark on their uppers if that is what you are looking for. What upper did you order?

Not much to add except that CMMG is good people, and the finish they use is a very very dark grey/black.

I talked to CMMG to check on my order and it's being shipped tomorrow. Hope its nice! 14.7 perm A2 M4 profile. I went ahead and got the permanent A2 because I'm definitely not putting any other hand guards or FF rails on it. I would like to get a rifle length MRP though for my next project. I want to build nice precision rifle...axa

It took me 2 weeks to get my semi custom upper....They took off the delta assembly (for my mono rails) and put on their micro gasblock...

I've had great experiences with CMMG and the upper and lowers I have received matched my LMT stuff very well. YMMV

The DSA lower I have is supposedly made by LMT, but I don't know if DSA does the finish themselves or LMT does it for them. So,I guess I'll find out soon enough if it matches the upper. No biggie if not, but it would be a plus if they do....axa
