Question about charging handles?? What is the diff. between forged and extruded is one stronger less likely to flex or twist like they do with big  scopes and  tactical latches, recommend one.

Forged charging handles are better.

This one was not forged.

I'm going to guess you're ordering from PKarms, because I had to make this decision as well.

Forged - it's only a $5 more option for crying out loud, but worth more than that in what it adds to the weapon's overall durability.

Forged.  I still prefer the Badger Mod 1 Latch.

It's something you will use often to interface with the AR and is essential to its operation. Don't go cheap when the difference is a few bucks. If that worries you I suggest you look at the price of the PRi Gas Buster.

Their AR10 charging handle is forged, so it maybe safe to ASSume that yours it forged as well.  Armalite makes good stuff I wouldn't worry about it.
