Forged charging handles are better.
This one was not forged.

I use forged allum type only like LMT/CMT use

I'm going to guess you're ordering from PKarms, because I had to make this decision as well.
Forged - it's only a $5 more option for crying out loud, but worth more than that in what it adds to the weapon's overall durability. |

Forged. I still prefer the Badger Mod 1 Latch.

It's something you will use often to interface with the AR and is essential to its operation. Don't go cheap when the difference is a few bucks. If that worries you I suggest you look at the price of the PRi Gas Buster.

i have no idea what type came on my armalite upper. |
