I tried a search and didn't come up with anything. Most likely junk?

I don't know... three dollars more and you get something that you know is good. I wouldn't risk it. But if you wanna be the guinea pig go ahead.

Looks like someone was trying to cash in on polymer mag status with a Pmag/Troy lookalike.

I had one, it did not last long.  After it was loaded, I dropped it about two feet into my gun case and all the bullets came flying out.  So I reloaded it and put it back into the gun case.  Later when I ope the case, all the bullets were out again.  So I took the spring out and throw the rest away.

Nailed it.  If you want polymer go with Lancer, Magpul, or both (many threads on them).  My old Thermolds worked OK for me, but the new alternatives surely are better.  I would recommend USGI aluminum as well, and again many threads here to guide you.

Here was my review from the archives.

Received my two today and can claim they are turds!. Basically a rip off a EMAG/PMAG in so many ways.

Follower and floor plate retainer are made of a super cheap plastic. The rear portion of the follower that engages the bolt catch arm, started to deform after maybe 10 insertions. Follower hump also extends pass the feed lips. Disassembly of the mag also showed it to have a direct rip off of a EMAG/PMAG floor plate retainer. Follower also patterns itself after the EMAG/PMAG with the exception of being even cheaper by cutting the hook loop of the spring and just using a friction fit to retain the follower to the spring.

Mag did drop free from all 18 of my rifles/lowers of varying makes. Bolt hold open failed to engage on two lowers, a NOVESKE and ROGGIO that had no issues with the EMAG.

I then was able to swap all EMAG internals into the SyntecMags body to include even the EMAG floorplate. They fit like a glove and the previously mentioned lowers that had issues with the bolt hold open, was no longer an issue. The SyntecMags internals did not readily insert into the EMAG though, with the follower binding 3/4 way into the EMAG body.

I also tried the EMAG dust cover on the SyntecMags and if not for lack of a notch on the back of the SyntecMags spine, it would have snapped into place. Using a LULA, I was able to load 31 rounds (yes, 31 rounds) very easily. Lastly, after maybe 20 or so insertions, the mag catch latch is actually wearing a noticeable grove into the SyntecMags body.

In conclusion, they are range mags only to me and even then I do not have high hopes of getting a handful of uses out of them.

I got two from CDNN when they were 9.95. I wasn't impressed with them. Never loaded them and put them in the closet. I was hoping for a good inexpensive synthetic mag. Too thin, too light, IMO don't waste your money.
