Aluminum collaspible stocks makes too much noise, the plastic ones are much better units.  Olympic make a aluminum M4 stock you might want to take a look at.  but like i have said, get the plastic unit instead.

something you should also know is that a 6-position stock is also on the market

The aluminum stocks will shatter when struck.  Stay with the modern fiberite design.

The original aluminum telescock on the XM177-series was rubber coated.
