Do they have standard Take Down and Pivot Pins?
Are they locked in place?

If so, apply downward pressure on the Upper, and use a punch to tap the Take Down Pin out and see if the BCA is jammed back into the Receiver Extension; or the Hammer is jammed into the BCA somehow.

If you can pivot it, then you ought to be able to 'punch' out the Pivot Pin as well.

[This is all said not knowing if the the Bushy pistol is put together in a standard fashion]

I'm sure someone who owns one will be along shortly to help out.

Best to you,

The buffer prevents the upper from pivoting on the front pin. You have to remove the buffer tube and buffer, or push out both pins and move the upper forward and up to get it off the lower.

With the carrier bolt forward grab the buffer tube with your hand and unscrew it from the receiver. Then pull the spring and counterweight out. You should be able to push the rear takedown pin and flip the upper reciever like usual.

If you've allready done this, sorry!
