It's a rebadged EOTech sold by Bushnell. For a few dollars more, get the EOTech unless you're stretching the budget already. It's got the armored hood as an extra feature and I wanted that as a "peace of mind" feature. The Eotech is also waterproof - Bushnell's website is down, so I couldn't see if the Holosight is waterproof also.

We carry both; the EoTech 502 is the same as the Bushnell Holosight. Go with an EoTech 511 and up, (not a 502 or a Bushnell) you will be happier.
